No. Should just unplug. May be in there fairly tight. See if you can
catch the lip on the 6 or 8 pin connector and pry it up. Then you've got
the vacuum line and seat belt latch indicator harness to unplug as well. If
it's in a tight spot even with seat raised, try motoring the seat as far to
the rear as possible, remove the two front bolts and you should have a bit
of play to rock it upward just enough to get your hands in there to
disconnect wiring.
If on the other hand you are removing the seat, start by motoring all the
way forward, disconnect the two rear floor bolts, disconnect the seat belt
to transmission hump bolt, motor rearward and finish with the two front
floor bolts. Seat is very heavy but, with a little work it lifts out of the
car.
