[W126 Coupe] idles rough when properly lean

I left them (Bosch W9DC) at the factory .9mm gap. The book says .8mm, but I had heard that widening to .9mm is better so I left them at the factory gap.

What is the plug gap? My 560 idled rough (with everything else right) until I opened the gap out to 0.045 - 0.050 inches.
