I was just wondering, how we could find out the last SEC's produced, and to
which country, they were they shipped?

Leave the car as is - UK cars did not need cats until late 92....so thank
the lord your car does not have cats and lambda sensor rubbish.

I'm based in the UK too.

BTW, Dan's mixture instructions are mainly applicable for US spec cars with
cats. Our UK cars have a slightly different set-up at x11.

If you are getting claimed MPG figs, then that's as good as it gets.

I used to get the claimed figs on my 560 too, but significantly less since
installing AMG cams and higher ratio diff (2.82). Power output is IRO
325-330bhp, with a free-flow dual exit exhaust system on my 560SEC. Stock
output was 300bhp (mine's a 1988).

And you've confirmed what I suspected about your car being registered 92. So
it was built in late 91, indeed one of the last w126 SEC's you have there.
