[W126 Coupe] got busted at 135 MPH

Franco: Bad move from the beginning.  Based upon my
conversations with several friends who are cops,
never, ever say you were: operating a vehicle while
not thinking clearly (had a fight with my wife-got in
the car and took off) or unaware of how fast you were
going (gee officer, I didn't realize how fast I was
going).  

A better move would have been something like: This
vehicle is designed to safely cruise at 140 mph, there
was no traffic, good visibility, and I was trying to
make some time.  This may work-depends on the officer
and what type of day they are having.
