Dick,
The man with the talent is Satish, Motorwerks, Detroit area... I have
seen the transplant on his now 600SEC. It has a 6L V12 in it and it
looks like it came from Stuttgart that way, down to the ny-lock ties on
the wiring harness. It not only looks incredible, it runs too!! I've
seen him lay 45 foot strips of rubber... He had to back off as he was
approaching a 90 degree turn by his shop. HA!
He has done something experts claimed impossible.
As far as the cost... Whatever it is, it's worth it!
He now has quite a few folks for whom he is doing transplants in their
beloved MB chassis of various types.

A loaded set of questions for the MBCoupes types truly in the know.
Just wondering what would it take to put the latest and greatest engine
in one of these SEC's?
Who has the talent, what is the cost?
What are the other components needed to get the job done i.e. tranny,
rear end, etc?
How easy will be the new transplant for the local mechanic to maintain
and work on when all is said and done?
Reliability, longevity, documentation to support future service?
Regards,
Dick
