Isn’t there a guy named Satish somewhere up in the Great Lake State that
does that sort of thing in his spare time or on his lunch hour? I think
once all is done it would be like working on the car the transplant came
from except in a different body providing everything fit right! It would be
something to see if you could get a new world Mercedes engine in yours! I
imagine big, big, big bucks! You could always settle for an LT1 or
something similar! VRROOOOOM!

A loaded set of questions for the MBCoupes types truly in the know.
Just wondering what would it take to put the latest and greatest engine in
one of these SEC's?
Who has the talent, what is the cost?
What are the other components needed to get the job done i.e. tranny, rear
end, etc?
How easy will be the new transplant for the local mechanic to maintain and
work on when all is said and done?
Reliability, longevity, documentation to support future service?
Regards,
Dick
