[W126 Coupe] Engines

In other words, I'm better off with a euro 500 engine.

Cams, heads (as my understanding the ports are different on a Euro). Also, the Euro revs higher so a different fuel pump relay would be in order.

What other than compression and exhaust do you need to turn a 380 from 155hp into 204hp?

Sure, given an unlimited budget. However, you will
find that it's not such an easy task to extract much
more power from our engines without supercharging. I
think much more is over 150 hp.

Look at the people who have modified their SEC engines
and show me some dyno graphs of those high hp NA
engines. Then tell me how successful they were in
getting much more power. Heck, Renntech charges
something like $25,000 for a 350 hp SEC engine.

The SEC engine is not a stellar design in any aspect
other than longevity. It does not make much power
given the output and is not an easy platform to modify
	for big gains.
