Bosch platinum's do Not work well in M117/116's..tried by many loved by 
none!;-)
Bosch wires are all made in spain now..won't use them on my cars nor will I 
sell them to anyone. Beru is really the only way to go. Every set I have 
used/installed has worked flawlessly.

My first step in your shoes would be to get a set of proper plugs... W9DC's 
and gap them at .042.
