Talbir, So glad to here that you are alright. I understand how those angry bigots might react after such an event. Quickly and resolutely remind them, if provoked, that you have lived in London all your life and are in agreement with them toward the criminals. If need be remind them of the ever present security cameras and for someone in your position at your company the authorities will persue them to set an example. Keep your cell phone at the ready. Yes, I am fine - many thanks !

I do indeed take the underground trains to work every day of the week and 
have been doing so for the last 12 years. Two of the blasts occurred on 
lines I travel on.

But fortunately for me I was 150 miles away in the countryside of  Sherwood 
Forest in Nottinghamshire....on hols with my wife and kids.

I return to work on Monday and of course will be using the tube of course. 
But I'm pretty certain no events will take place for some time now, given 
the high state of alert. The guilty will be keeping their sick heads down 
for a little while.

Life will change though for everyone here....and has already even impacted 
me and other Sikhs too, as some ignorant people struggle to differentiate 
between Sikhs and Muslims. And the very ignorant cannot differientiate 
between Muslims and terrorists. And that's a very sad state to live in..
