[W126 Coupe] Vacuum problem? Got the car running!

Well, today I was able to get the SEL running.  I
switched out the ignition module from my 85 SEC to the
85 SEL.  Fired right up!  So I got that running,
changed the oil, new plugs, new plug wires, tranny
fluid and filter change.  It is running, it does have
more power, but it still has the stumble under load at
low RPM.  

Basically the car stutters, and with the AC on it
almost feels like when you are stepping on the gas
from a dead start, like it is just going to stall.  

Any ideas?  At highway speeds when you step on the
gas, it goes like it should, at cuising speeds the car
feels fine.

A quick way to see if you have any spark, and seeing
as you obviously already have the air cleaner off, is
to sqirt starting fluid or a couple tablespoon of gas
through the air intake and see if it fires up (for a
second or two)

You're likely right about the coil.  The symptoms are
closer, they  can act up first and then fail.

The other option is the ignition module but they
usually die instantly with no warning.  

A new coil is by far the cheapest part, abt $75.  The
ign module is more like $500.  The one in an '89SEC is
over $1,500. ouch!
