Ideally the body shop cuts and shaves a piece of plastic in the exact =
shape
and size of the gap, then glues it on (industrial glue) and then fill in =
the
seam. Cheapo/lazy shops will Bondo the whole gap (which will then crack =
and
flake off in a couple months). Definitely a job to leave to an shop
experienced.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Front Bumper fill in question

Some on this list have filled in the front bumper where the license =
plate=20
fits. I am getting ready to repaint my front bumper, and since we don't =
use

front plates in PA, I'd like to consider this procedure. Can anyone =
fill=20
me in on how they did this?

Thanks,

Gary Knox
West Chester, PA=20
