[W126 Coupe] oil foul spark plug problem

Number 7 cylinder spark comes up with oil on it. The engine has 255k mi.  
does not smoke on start up or running. Valve stem guides have 100k mi on them.  
I'm thinking ring problem. Does anyone have experience with high detergent  
additive carbon cleaners or hot oil cleaning systems?
