90% probability that the leak is coming from the lower corners of the
rear windshield seal. If you pull out the inner trunk liner cloth
pieces) you will see the source of the leak as water coming from above
-- the area under the rear window.

Go to your dealer and order a FACTORY rear window seal. Cost is around
$100 for the rubber. Take it to an auto glass specialist to do the
work. it is laminated glass, so know up front that there is 50-50
chance the shop may break the glass on pulling it out. this is a
factored risk. A good glass shop should be OK, but they need to CUT the
old seal out before removing window. They will likely not cover the
cost of a new window if they break it on removal -- and the cost of a
  new window is approximately $1,000.

Removal and install cost should be around $75-150 depending on where
you are. It will remedy the leak.

Also, have the glass shop check the channel where the seal rests along
the lower edge of the window once they have it out. 80% chance of
finding rust here -- either on top or from the inside of the trunk
area. Perchance it could even be rusted through. Have them take care
of this rust by treating it, before putting on a new seal.

  Good luck

  Cheers,
  Gerry
