[W126 Coupe] HELP! Seatbelt latch

Mine does the same thing and I suspect the window seal. Granted my trunk
seal is on backwards (curves towards the trunk instead of away), but I
tested it and it seems to hold water. When my trunk seal was bad, my
trunk lid was getting water inside of it, so perhaps if you check for
water inside your trunk lid it will help you narrow things down? It's
hard to actually find the water, but you know it's there because
swinging open the lid fast makes it splash out.

I could also be the seal around your taillights are
leaking.
