[W126 Coupe] 450SL diff into 500SEC

Sure ?

My 500 has 2.24 LSD (option 256 on the datacard, which is rear axle with 
LSD).

Externally the 3.06 LSD and 2.24 LSD on my 500 are exactly the same, apart 
from the hole in the casing for the ABS pick-up.

I believe Barry Corno has done this swap, i.e. 3.06 from 450SL straight onto 
his early 380SEC. But I do not know if he had an issue with the ABS. I think 
his was a direct bolt-on.

Just wondering if the difference is from the ABS ?
