[W126 Coupe] Creaky front end

You might also check the ruibber mounts for the shock absorbers.  I had this problem on my 380 SEC on the rear mounts.  Creaking drove me crazy before I found the cause.  I checked and changed a lot of parts before I found this as the cause.

Nope, nothing to grease.  I've found creaky front ends are generally
from bad guide rod mounts or ball joints..  On rare occasion, the
upper control arm bushings have been the culprit.  You might try
squirting the upper control arm bushings w/ a liberal amount of
silicone spray/lubricant see if that makes it go away temporarily.

As a thought, it could be the spring and the rubber pad squeaking..
