[W126 Coupe] brake upgrades

I just sold a Seville that I had problems warping the front rotors on
(driving from 9000 feet down to 5000 feet everyday, windy road, etc)
until I went with cast hole rotors. Problem solved, but I do think it
decreased braking ability noticeably. I would go again with them if I
had a warping problem, but I have not found that at all with the SEC.
(Also, mine does not have the vented rotors.)

Jonathan,

If you go with the cross drilled rotors and do not
increase the size of your disk, your braking distance
will increase due the the loss of surface area caused
by the drill holes. You should not use cross-drilled
rotors on a street car. Porsche uses cast holes not
drilled holes and I'd imagine Mercedes uses cast holes
too.
