[W126 Coupe] brake upgrades

Jonathan is right. If nothing else, the brakes on these cars are more than adequate when properly maintained. Everytime I get out of any of today's contemporary cars and back into my 560, the first thing I'm impressed with is how much better the braking is. The trick is to stay with the OEM disc/pad combination which will unfortunately wear quickly and throw lots of dust. Upgrades are available but upgrade only with disc/pad combinations that are matched to each other by reputable suppliers.

You can have a kit made up, it'll run about 4-5K. Do you track your
car?? Only reason I ask is I drive the snot out of mine and have yet
to need bigger brakes.. Are you sure your system is in order?
