[W126 Coupe] S600 Coupe

Ryan,
I've been told that the S600s are very expensive to maintain. For example, 
while the injectors for a 500 or 560 are under $50, the injectors for the V-12 
are around $300. ($400 vs. $3,600). Also some years are prone to engine wiring 
harness failures. (They have two.) My tenant who lives in our guest house has 
a '94 S600 that has RennTech mods. He's had to have one of the harnesses 
replaced to the tune of $1,300. Also had a date who slammed the passenger door 
causing the window mechanism to break allowing the window to fall down inside the 
door. This cost him around a grand to have repaired. The windows are double 
thick and quite heavy. He also gets only around 9-10 mpg in town. It is kinda 
neat though having it parked in the driveway next to my '91 560. They are both 
smoke silver with beige interiors and tinted windows.
