[W126 Coupe] Re: Transmission Question

thanks for the note.

I have the trans out on the floor.  there is no indication of any 
misalignment between the TC and the pump drive shaft.  everything slips on 
and off easily according to the MB specialist who pulled the trans.  Next 
step is to wait for an answer from the rebuilder.  Problem appears to be 
internal.  since there is so few miles (50) on the rebuild, I dont think a 
twisted case is the culprit.  I do intend to learn the exact reason of the 
problem and report to the group.

btw  the car is an 86 560 SEC.
