[W126 Coupe] laser jammers

Anybody buy a returned unit from Valentine for a $40 savings? If yes,
any thoughts on that? I'm considering doing that, though I think I'd
always have a nagging feeling that it was returned for some reason. I
think if the Solo 2 had arrows and the batteries didn't die every 3-4
weeks I would buy that, but it doesn't and they do, so it's either the
V1 or nothing (well, V1, or a 50mm f/1.4 lens, or a 100mm f/2.8 macro
lens, or a faster hard drive). Those laser shifters are expensive as all
get out, so that will have to wait for now, but good to know that they
work.

Richard,

I like the V1. It's by far the best detector I've
owned. Spend the money because it's worth the price.

Yes, laser jammers are very effective.
