[W126 Coupe] Head Gasket Question

I think I fixed my #8 oil leak years ago via some shellac, a type of shellac
that will take the heat. I remember using a spray can of brake cleaner to
clean the gap then painting a couple of layers of this stuff on it - end of
leak.

Anybody have any suggestions? "Indian Shellac". Would JB Weld take care of
this??

Later,

I have the same problem on my 560SEL #8 cyl - Driver's side.
I have had this problem for about 3 years and 4,000 miles ago...very
small leak, more of a seepage, and does not even drop oil level.
I have read a lot of postings with this problem. Does not bother me at
all...I will probably do something if it get worse, or something else
happens needing me to open up the head...
