My '91 did have cloth headliner. It was too late when I saw the post about
repairing the sag, as the shop that replaced the headliner tore that out and
then totally botched the install of the vinyl and destroyed my sunroof
mechanism. 

As I mentioned in the first post, they replaced the sunroof slider with OEM
material but it looks like I will have to remove that to match the
headliner. The reason that cloth was used is that it stretches in all
directions, something that vinyl does not do, so the bends in the interior
work better with cloth.

So, if you your headliner ever sags, do your best to re-glue it.
