BG44K I have used now on 3 MB's where the standard Techron fuel injector cleaner (even double dosed) did little to clear a hard start or idle stumble on the M103 engine (300SE's). It cleared the injectors (all with less than 60k miles on them) and removed the carbon on the throttle plate. Supposedly it also clears the deposits on the valves. This I could not visually confirm.
The only thing I cared about was fixing the problem which this stuff did. Keeping in mind that all service was up to date on both electrics and fuel but, I still had a slight stumble on one (125k miles)and pause (hesitation) momentarily on acceleration on the other (300k miles). 1 can is about $16-18 and added to a fill-up of of Premium gas.
