Take off the cats and bring them to a muffler shop and they will be able to
make you thru pipes that will bolt right in.

That was going to be my next question actually. The cats on my car are bolt
on so it wouldn't be difficult to swap them out with a pipe, then swap the
cat back in for inspection time. Anybody know what dimension stuff I need?

>I dunno, fooling around with fuel mixtureI was able to drop a full
second on the 0-60 times so there is definitely powerto be had. I think with
the 86 and later engines your options to eek out freepower are much more
limited than the pre-86 since the pre-86 have basicallymechanical injection
and the computer just adjusts timing by a constant amountfor a given engine
rpm, so if I advance the base timing by 3 degrees, which Ishould have room
to do since the car only asks for 87 and I run 93 I should beable to drop a
few tenths on the 1/4 (I don?t know why I haven?tgotten around to this yet,
I guess because I don?t want to buy a timinglight). But for the sake of
checking my O2 voltage, does anybody know whatports you use to check the O2
sensor voltage on the CIS (no, it?s not thesame as the CIS-E, so Dan?s guide
doesn?t help).
>The question isn?t how can I getmore power by spending gobs of money,
the question is what power can be extractedfor under $100.

your not going to make a lot more HP by running it lean. But you willruin an
