While thecovers are off use a flashlight and check the upper timing chain guides to makesure they are not broken.  Alsocheck your cam oiler pipes, the plastic holders in time become brittle and maycrack.  Also, since you have todisconnect the brake booster vacuum line check it  for wear/cracks at the check valve and replace if necessary.
