[W126 Coupe] a Rust Point

Good afternoon Ladies and Gents,

Was washing the car the other day and made a rather chilling discovery. The 
rear quarter panel on the '87 had a spot that at first looked like a speck of dirt. 
But upon a closer look it was rust coming up through the paint.

The rear window does not leak, so ruled that out. The spot is directly below 
the antenna at the bumper line. Inspected the antenna and found the rubber 
grommet was cracked. Think I found my water source. 

Was discussing this with a fellow SEC'er and he also had a rust spot in the 
rear quarter, drivers side (but not in the exact same spot). After talking to me 
he went and looked - yep, his antenna grommet was cracked as well.

A 2 sample database is not very much to give complete faith to, but it is worth 
checking the grommet to see if it is cracked.
