Maybe you add 13" wheels to that look also!

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Handling - the Opposite Approach

Many people are using larger wider wheels, spacers, and lowering their
SEC's. Here is an opposite approach:

I have just discovered an easy way to downgrade the handling characteristics
of your SEC so that it not only handles like a pig on stilts, but at the
same time looks exceptionally stupid.

The standard 15" wheels from a 124 fit on the 126 models except the offset
is about two inches less. As a result, your wheels LOOK stock but are
tucked away inside the wheel arches like woodland creatures peeking from
their burrows.

Think of it as the opposite of spacers... anti-spacers, maybe.

You heard it here at MB Coupes first!

(By the way, if you are serious about trying this, first, you need another
set of shorter wheel bolts; second, try to not ever have to turn corners...
f'instance, move to Arizona; and third, get some professional help for your
chronic substance-abuse problem.)
