[W126 Coupe] OVER HEAT QUESTION

when i got the car it was winter i did the ac work and everything else on  
the car and by spring replaced the condenser and compressor added r 12 and  now 
i notice the temp gauge rising how ever it also did the gauge   face 
replacement ...
