Steve: You were the only person I could think of that also has a Sport
Line. Saw a fact somewhere, only 10% were ever built that way. Mine does
not have the SL badges on the body cladding but I know what you are
talking about.....I was thinking of getting a pair of Avantgarde badges
from the UK. LadyBenz does have smaller leather sport steering wheel ,
W124 style rims, SL shift knob, and all power features. I was able to
obtain an original Limited Edition sales brochure that will soon tell me
the rest of the mystery. Fortunately she was owned and driven by a lady
nonsmoker who worked for Mercedes-Benz, so everything inside is near
perfect w/o even a wrinkle to the leather seats. It also came with a
remote starter and valet alarm, a nice bonus.
David: Are you breathing normal yet? The Queen of Stock has caused some
Shock? This was a self chosen birthday present......getting a little more
racy in my "old" age! You've heard of Chanel No. 5? This is Benz-0 No.
10.
Cheers,
Star Cruiser
