Yep, bought a 190E 2.3-16V Cosworth....w201.034...these cars are to 190E's
what the 500E is to w124's....another classic.
A 1988 car, Smoke Silver, dog-leg manual Getrag gearbox, air-con,
half-leather/Karo electric seats....and everything on the car is absolutely
original, even the alloys are the original Cossie types.
Not as fast as a 500E, but has much better handling. A true sports car with
plenty of successful racing history. And one of the very few MB's to leave
the factory with a bodykit.
My wife will be driving soon and this 190 Cossie will be perfect for her to
drive...small and safe...but classy and fast as well. EVERY single switch
and accesory is fully functional....the sunroof works, rear window heater
works, the air-conditioning is ice cold, the self-levelling rear suspension
works, drivers electric seat fully functional...the MB stock voltmeter,
stopwatch and oil temp gauge in the centre console are all fully
functional....even the Hirschman aerial fully extends and retracts. A truly
well looked after example.
And the handling is awesome - what a tight firm suspension ! Car has
received a new Sachs clutch too !!

Another expensive-parts Merc.....the 500E and these Cossie's have
extortionate parts prices.
