[W126 Coupe] Glove box liner

Glove box linerHi Barry:

Two items in the roof of the glove box liner.

First. Pop down and disconnect the courtesy lamp housing and push the two leads up into the cavity.

Second.  Grasp the glove box liner at the roof to either side of the door hardware clip (at center).  Pull the liner downward just about a 1/4 inch or so to permit the clearance of a plastic clip just behind the center hardware that is pop riveted to the liner roof, then pull forward.  First time removing, naturally other points will stick and snag but, just work it free and keep the clearance at the top of the liner so as to not break the plastic 2 X 1 inch clip in the roof of the liner.  That's it.

  Argh!  How do I remove the glove box from a 1989 coupe?  I've taken out the 7 plastic pins and their sockets, so the glove box now moves forward a half inch or so, but it does not want to come out.  What am I missing?
