My dad's car will do it in 122 so I know I'm not anywhere close to the
AMG figure. Does the 560SEC have different brakes from a 380SE? My dad
also had a Mk VII LSC and that definitely stopped faster, and according
to the third link you gave that took 140 feet to stop. I guess I'll look
over my brakes when I get the car back, but that would mean whatever
problem I have I've had it for a long time, and nobody has found it (my
dad won't let me do my own brake fluid flushes, so it goes to a mechanic
for that, and I would think they would find a problem if there is one).
I guess if I'm not locking up my 205/70's and the car should be capable
of it that does mean one good thing: I'll be able to drastically improve
braking without having to go to a big brake kit.
