[W126 Coupe] would anybody be interested in big brakes?

As long as you also have bigger wheels, yes. I know the stock brakes
aren't strong enough to kick in the ABS on 205/70 14 tires. The people
who said they could make a custom kit also sell rotors and pads, and
while they recommend them, they say that going to slotted rotors won't
do much more for me other than heat/gas dissipation (and it's not like
they were trying to sell me on a kit, I was the one who brought up the
idea of a custom set). They say the pads will do something for me, but
considering the size I think on 235/45 - 17 tires even the grippiest
available pads for the stock brakes won't come close to kicking in the
ABS in dry weather. So big brake kit is the only way to get close to the
max stopping ability 235 and wider tires can handle.

WOULD BIGGER BRAKES MAKE THAT BIG OF A DIFFERENCE FOR $2000.00, AS
OPPOSED TO JUST ADDING POWER ATE BRAKES?
