[W126 Coupe] Hazard Switch

Hi group,
A while back I inquired about the replacement of the Hazard flasher switch...
I just replaced it yesterday and it was very simple... From looking at the new switch, all it takes is two small blade Swiss army knives to release the metal spring clips behind the upper and lower plastic tabs on the old switch being careful not to gouge the wood. Comes right out through the front... Two minute job!
FYI Matt and those who need to do this.
I really missed that hazard switch when I was all over the road in a snow storm around Milwaukee a while back. I had no way of warning people behind me... Very dangerous!! I was lucky to get through it without an incident.
It's a good idea to work those switches as they tend to freeze up if they are not used for a long time... And that goes for anything. HA! Use it or loose it!
I was happy not to have to remove the radio as I don't have the security code to re-activate it... I do intend to upgrade the sound system in a future project.
See you all in Detroit... Providing you're there of course!
Sam

Yep the radio has to come out. The panel pulls down and out so the radio must
come out to allow it to clear.
Matt.
