[W126 Coupe] Window Tint

I got my car back on the road since the fall and went to have the state
(MA) inspection done.
 The guy came out with a light meter and said if it didn't pass the meter
it didn't make sense to go in for the full inspection and fee.
 The tint measured 10% above legal for Mass. He didn't have time to chat
about what is legal and what is not so, I am not sure about the limit.
I did get pricing on single edge razor blades immediately following,
however.
 The tint on my car is dark since it came from Florida. It will hurt to
scrape it off. It's the finest tint job I have ever seen.
