You do have to add additional fuel at some point, but as I understand it,
the car (and most engines) runs a bit on the rich side for safety to start
out with. Also, more air pushes the metering plate down further,
automatically (though not accurately) adding more fuel (which is why you
don't have to worry until you get extreme, like Jim Nowak's car).
