[W126 Coupe] Rear End diff.

Do you know if all v8 116 had the same 3.06 diff?  Did they change from
year to year or anything like that?  Does any one know what ratio rear end
is from a w126 SD?  They run at a lot higher rpms on the highway I do not
know if it is tranny or rear end that is causing that.

I might have a few 450 rear end laying around at a friends junk yard, is
anyone familiar with the part # for a 116  3.06 rear end?
