[W126 Coupe] RE: As dumb as a 560SEC dipstick ?

Thanks for all the help everyone - I am relieved that I dont have to order a 
truck for the ride to the shop.

Pavel - I broke the dipstick simply by re-inserting it. I must have twisted 
it somehow - the steel is only slightly springy, but it snapped clean. I had 
to use bolt cutters to cut the another piece off - the metal is really tough 
when it wants to be......
