[W126 Coupe] As dumb as a 560SEC dipstick ?

I believe I would try to get a really strong magnet that would be a tight 
fit inside a long plastic tube and see if I couldn't just fish the piece 
back out. In fact, if I thought it was standing up straight in the bottom of 
the dipstick tube, I might just see if a plastic tube couldn't surround and 
extract it by itself. I would be surprised if the piece could do any damage, 
but someone may have a better memory from changing out the filter.
