[LargeFormat] Pointing down

Hello all,
I would love some advice on a tripod solution with a boom - or 
horizontal column holder with a Arca Swiss quick release. I'm using a 
Wista SX field camera and would like to be able to point the camera 
straight down, a bit away from the legs. Counter-weights?
The selection of tripods have diminished in the stores here and I hate 
buying important items with out handling them first.

Any suggestions would be great.
