Keep checking eBay. The lens you want is the Goerz
Apochromatic Artar. These were the most popular process
lenses for several decades. Since digital image setters have
replaced process cameras a lot of excellent process lenses
including a lot of Artars are on the market for generally
pretty low prices. The most common focal length is 19" but
24" is fairly common and shouldn't be too hard to find.
While Goerz was originally a German company it was
absorbed into the Zeiss combine about 1926. The American
division remained independant. While Zeiss continued to
build Dagors after the merger they did not make Artars so
nearly all of them were made in the U.S.
Most of these lenses are in barrels. They will need to be
used with rear shutters or be remounted.
