When I had a Peugeot turbodiesel it took twice as long to warm up as a
petrol car and the heater wasn't much to boast about. I thought this was
because my petrol cars burn a whole lot more fossil fuel than diesels and so
have more spare heat to defeat the environment. Or is there a genuine
explanation? On a related but more serious note tomorrow I am off to buy a
camera from a man on the south coast and serious snowfalls are anticipated.
My wife said to take a thermos of coffee, a rug and a large shovel. She
originated from a colder climate ......Philip
