Thanks Richard. In fact the lens has a Prontor-SVS shutter, and this
afternoon is perfectly happy to operate. I've found some instructions
for dismantling Prontor-S shutters at
http://www.rolandandcaroline.co.uk so if (or when) it sticks again
I'll try to clean it as you've described.=20

I've just had a quick look through the cells at a black background and
they look clear, but will check properly later, again thanks!
