[LargeFormat] Hand Luggage UK Airports - Suggestions?

I am looking for a good bag to carry LF kit for air travel.

Here is the latest on the UK regulations for hand luggage. All UK 
airports now seem to follow these rules:

"As a general guide, passengers' hand baggage should be a maximum 
weight of between 5 & 7 kilos (depending on the airline), and 
dimensions should not exceed height 450mm x width 350mm x depth 
200mm. Most airlines have a hand baggage measurement gauge at 
check-in. Please be advised that if after check-in you arrive at the 
security check with more than one piece of hand luggage, or your 
piece exceeds the weight and dimension restriction, it is likely that 
you will be requested to return to check your bag in as hold baggage. 
We thank you in advance for your co-operation."

"DO NOT pack the following items in your hand luggage:
  =B7 Toy/replica guns (metal or plastic)
  =B7 Catapults
  =B7 Household cutlery
  =B7 Knives with blades of any length
  =B7 Razor blades
  =B7 Tools
  =B7 Darts
  =B7 Scissors
  =B7 Tweezers
  =B7 Hypodermic needles (unless required for medical reasons)
  =B7 Knitting needles
  =B7 Sporting bats
  =B7 Billiard, snooker or pool cues
  =B7 Corkscrews"

=46lying around Europe in the last 12 months I have found these 
regulations to be fairly strictly enforced. It seems very unlikely 
that passengers will be allowed to carry tripods as hand luggage.

Also you now have to be careful that your camera tool kit is placed 
in the hold luggage or it will be confiscated when the hand luggage 
is checked.

After trying a lot of different combinations, I have found a LF Tenba 
bag to be the ideal bag for carrying my kit - unfortunately it will 
not pass the size restrictions for hand luggage. Anyone have 
recommendations for a bag? Think three lenses, a Polaroid back, 
loupe, 4 Grafmatics, a focusing cloth and a wooden field camera.
