Many shops in the UK open on Sundays but few are camera shops. Some people
go to church- it's a minority activity. Not personally sure that we weren't
better off with a quiet day once a week. Petrol stations are another
matter; two out of our three petrol stations closed down and it happens all
over the country. In town we have alternative places not far off but if I
were planning a country photo trip on a Sunday I would tank up previously.
No outdoor photos today as we have a sustained heavy rain, this after the
hottest and dryest summer in years. I actually needed the car's aircon!
