[LargeFormat] OT: Ireland, Dublin in April, what can one expect?

I've been over to Ireland several times with LF gear. Follow the usual
advice of taking film as a carry-on to minimise exposure to X ray.

As to weather, it could be anything! However, Ireland does not suffer
extremes, especially in the east, so it will never get really cold or hot.
Assume it will rain, and dress appropriately and you wont be surpised. Now
comes the hard bit - Dublin.

Dublin is by far and away the largest city in Ireland, accounting for 1/3 of
the population. It probably also accounts for over 50% of the crime and over
1/2 of the social problems. In other words, don't get sucked into thinking
that Dubliners are any different from urban dwellers around the world.
Follow the usual precautions, especially when absorbed looking at the ground
glass - take a companion. On the plus side, if you do get anything stolen,
there's probably only a handful of shops were the gear could be sold on.

Mark.
