[LargeFormat] why use transparency film?

Les:

I use E-6 because:

...after scanning, I can color correct better by having the chrome on
the light box next to the scanner, than I could with a color negative. I
then print them on an Epson 2200.

...I like seeing those great, robust colors on the light table.

...I can't find any 11x14 color negative film.

...I like the reaction when I show them to people.

...I'm silly and don't try to make a living at this.
