Dear Nephews Karl, Huib, and Rich,

     Thank you for some original thought. The Polaroid backs do indeed show
up round here in the extremely cheap bin and for that matter I think I have
seen Toyo or Horseman sliding or rotating backs out on the tables as well.
Our local cameradreck man also has an original Linhof 4 x 5 slider but it is
definitely for Technika.

    I daresay your ideas about adapting another might well be worth
following up. I shall report any success.
