Karl, Alan, Dick ... you clearly misunderstand. The lack of a sense of
humour is yours. You seem to be confusing two quite different things ... the
use and appreciation of wit, which is where a sense of humour traditionally
operates ... and on the other hand, the perpetuation of racism, bigotry,
cliche and arrogance masquerading as 'fun', which is what you guys have
actually been practising. Your 'humour' is lame, predictable, tired, and
distinctly unfunny. Non-US readers of this list have to put up with a hell
of a lot of US ethnocentrism as it is, this last dose has just gone too far.
I'm sure I'm not the only one for whom it's the last straw.
